 Usenet (what it is?)
Usenet is a global system of computers that exchange messages on thousands of subjects. Messages are posted to newsgroups, they are organised in hierarchies. As for today it has millions of users.

But there are thousands more newsgroups that are dedicated to sharing and downloading binary files. Binary files are data files and they can be jpegs, mpegs, bmp files, avi files, in fact, any file other than a text file is a binary file.
